How to lose weight


I know everybody says to love yourself but sometimes its hard to love your self when you yourself think your body isn't as good as you would like it to. So, what are you gonna do ?? Your going to change some little things in your life.

Okay, so the first thing you want to do is cut out some sugary and fatty drinks/food. The reason why i say SOME is because your body needs sugars and fats, but not a lot.

Here are the things you should cut out of your food/Drink list:
  1. Sweets                         (contains A LOT of sugar)
  2. Chocolates                   (contains A LOT of sugar)
  3. Crisps                          (contains A LOT of salts and fats)
  4. Take away food           (contains TOO much fats)
  5. Fast food                     (contains too much fat)
  6. fried food                     (contains too much fat)
  7. Fizzy drinks/Soda         (contains ALOT of sugar and preservatives)
The things you should eat/drink more are:
  1. Fruits
  2. vegetables
  3. Water
  4. Homemade dishes      (excluding fried foods and desserts)

You know when a box of cookies or a fizzy drink bottle or even bubble gum has a little label that says 'NO ADDED SUGAR'. People would normally jump to the conclusion of thinking that this product is slightly healthier...NO. It isn't healthier, what they mean to say is 'WE HAVEN'T MELTED NORMAL SUGAR FROM SUGAR CANE BUT INSTEAD WE JUST ADDED IN A CRAP LOAD OF FLAVOURED SYRUPS AND A LOT OF GLUCOSE' 
so.....yer, just don't fall for their word trickery (=_=)

Now that you have started to lose weight because you have cut out the the sugars and fat in your life. You will want to tone your body because when you lose wight your stretched out skin will just be...hanging around your body >_<
SO, do exercises that is focused on that point of your body. When i lost weight i HAD to exercise A LOT because, I wouldn't say i was fat, i wasn't actually that chubby anyway i just wanted to lose a little bit of belly fat. I ended up losing 1 stone. This meant that i now weighed 7 stone...i lost this weight just from the dieting and it took me about a month. And because i lost that much in so little time that meant i was "flabby" especially in the bum and belly area -___- 
BUT i just exercised and now I'm fine the exercises i did were from YouTube And the lady i watched was Called Cassey Ho and her channel is called Blogilates. She was SO helpful.

i just wanted to say that, you should never push yourself to do things. Never stop eating it's not healthy and all you're going to do is store the weight that your body needs (you will not lose anything)
And if the reason you're losing weight is because of other people and not for yourself, then don't. Don't let any body tell you what you are (if it is a bad thing ^_^)

Beauty life hacks


I will say this now before i even start "talking" about the actual blog post. THIS WILL BE A VERY LONG BLOG POST. But by reading this long blog post, it will help you in your day to day life. These are some beauty hacks i have found very helpful.

Lip balm/petroleum jelly

  1. Eye make up remover
  2. Eyelash conditioner (some say it makes your eyelashes grow longer)
  3. Sub for lip gloss
  4. Split end remedy 
  5. Mix with lipstick to make a creme blush 
  6. Rub over your teeth to remove any lip stick on your teeth
  7. Apply Vaseline on your pulse points to make your perfume smell stronger
  8. Message into cracked skin to soften and heal it.


Apple cider vinegar 

  1. Cleansing AND anti dandruff shampoo
  2. Skin toner to prevent acne
  3. Use as a detangler 
  4. Lightens dark spots and any other discolourations 
  5. Use as a weekly treatment to get rid of warts




Coconut oil


  1. use as shaving foam for legs and arms (SUPER SMOOTH)
  2. deodorize your body with it . It will leave you smelling good whilst killing bacteria
  3. Use as a strengthening creme for your nails and cuticles.
  4. use to smooth eczema breakouts 
  5. lip gloss


double duty makeup 

  1. Mascara can double as eyeliner. Use a small brush and use it just how you would with liquid eyeliner
  2. Use mascara to cover Gray roots (if you can't see your hairstylist) 
  3. Blush can be used as eye shadow
  4. sweep eyeshadow over your lips to set your lipstick



Lemon and acidic fruits


  1. Use lemons for discolouration in your elbows
  2. Lemon can lighten age spots
  3. Spritz equal parts of lemon and water on your hair for highlights.
  4. Use a SLICE of pineapple as a loofah in the shower
  5. eat more apple to get rid of acne
  6. whiten your teeth with baking powder and strawberry


 


Eggs

  1. get rid of bags by applying egg under your eyes
  2. Get rid of oily skin and blackheads with an egg white mask
  3. Use a whole egg to make a hair mask for damaged hair

Monthly favourites



so, it is nearly the end of July, and i doubt I'm going to find something GREAT in the next few days. So today I'm going to do a monthly favourites for you, hope you like it :)



OK so the first product i have been lovingggg, is the herbal essence hydration shampoo, conditioner and hair mask. It smells soooo nice and it is truly amazing for my hair.
It makes my hair smell, feel and look really good.
 And probably the best part about these products is that they are insanely cheap. I am a student so the only money i get, is from my monthly allowance.









The next thing i have been loooving is the benefit hello flawless foundation, the coverage is just right and it stays on my face for a good 10 hours (i think) XD
If this product isn't in your budget, you can always opt out for
the Maybelinne 'Wake me up" foundation.
This is a product i have used for nearly 2 years and it is safe to say
that that product is probably one of the best drugstore foundations
i have ever used because, the little shimmer particles can make you
look so much more awake than you actually are BUT on a winters day it could leave you looking like Edward Cullen....the vampire. So bare in  mind.



This next product is just...amazing. It is the Lydia make up brushes.
Now, if you have searched eBay for make up brushes you would
have probably seen these. They are probably one of the most beautiful things i have ever seen...PINK MAKE UP BRUSHES.
(if you are wondering why i didn't take my own picture of the brushes, its because they are quite dirty due to the makeup) But yer they are super soft, and really cheap.










The next product is a food product, and it is yogurt. Yeo Valley

yogurt. The one that i have been loving the most would have to be the raspberry. I do like the strawberry and apricot BUT the aren't as
sweet. The one i hated the most was blueberry because i just don't
like blueberry's in general.





These next few items have been very helpful, because the weather has
been SO hot. So, i got myself some tops,shoes etc.
The white laced shirt i got was from H&M, the grey rolled up
sleeves was from Primark. The shoes that are at the bottom of the picture which you sadly can't see is from top shop and that denim lump you see at the bottom is a denim rucksack i got from Primark as well.

The last thing is probably one of the most important things i need
to share with you. And they are......HETALIA and
FUTURE DIARY. Both these shows are anime, and if you aren't
a big fan of anime.....you should probably watch these shows because
these shows will make you change your mind about anime. Future diary >>>>>
is about 12 people who have cell phones that will tell them the future via email.
These 12 people have to kill each other and the one who survives all the murders will become ''god'' but it gets harder for the 2 main characters because they fall in love with each other, but at the end of the day.....one of them has to kill their opair
but who would it be ???



Hetalia is just so random. It is basically a personification on countries. The main
characters are; Italy, Germany, England, America, China, Japan, Russia, France and Canada.
As you go through the series you meet other characters.

Disney or nahh ??

OK. so i have thought about this and i am finally going to do it. Basically every other day i will post an 'inspired outfit' so i will choose a character OR you could suggests some characters and i shall post an inspired outfit for your character. 
So i will do an inspired out fit today and it is obviously going to be inspired by a Disney character. But who ???

Well i have decided that it would be......PRINCESS RAPUNZEL.

I found this purple vest top from New look. I think it really suits this outfit because. it's obviously purple and the little floral prints makes it look colourful and artsy.

I chose these shoes because in tangeled, Rapunzel is bare feet throughout the movie, BUT, if you went bare feet to the mall, school or anywhere else people will probably look at you. And as much as i love going barefoot on most days, sometimes we just have to wear shoes. I have a pair like these ones and they are SOOO comfortable. These shoes are from Top shop.

BAGS:

Rapunzel doesn't actually use a bag, but sometimes us girls NEED a bag with us. So i found this bad on tumblr. So i don't actually know where you can get a bag like these. But yeah i chose this bag because its very casual and it can carry a lot of stuff. 
  















ACCESSORIES:

I found this stud and chain earring and it reminded me about rapunzel.
If you're not into chains then you could just get some normal flower
earrings instead. I found this earring in Claire's

and the colour shows the little trademarks of rapunzel.

I chose Rapunzel because i relate to her a lot, clothing wise. I like to wear purple, i am barefoot most of the time, and i like floral crowns. Some say i'm kinda like kit kat from the film 'about time' She is basically a hippie. (^-^)

8 weird ways to cool down.



good morning everybody !! I hope your morning has gone well. Mine hasn't....basically i tried to make some tea for myself and i ended up pouring the hot water on my hand.After i recovered the injury with some handy toothpaste i then thought it would be a good idea to have some soup. So, i am now in my pantry (if you're american and you don't know what a pantry is, it's basically a cupboard where you keep your food) looking for some instant soup. So about half an hour has passed and my stomach is starting to sound like a whale on steroids but lets just ignore the grumbles for now. I open the packet to find that it has gone off -_- so before i died of hunger i grabbed some stale cereal with milk and just had to deal with my disappointment. #notimpressed
But anyways i honestly didn't know what else to do for today's blog post so i'm just gonna tell you 8 weird ways to cool down., I hope you enjoy.


Yogic breathing method

  1. curl your tongue like this and inhale through your mouth.
  2. breathe out through your nose, and repeat these steps again.  





Cucumbers


Stick cold cucumber slices on your face and lie down                    





Ice it up

  1. Freeze a couple of water bottles
  2. Place in front of a a fan
  3. As ice in the bottle melt.
  4. The air will chill and blow towards you 







Wet t-shirt competition


  1. Douse shirt in cold water
  2. wring it
  3. wear it 
  4. and the heat will evaporate the excess water. 
  5. Which will make you a lot cooler
OR
  1. You could have a water balloon fight with your friends.






Cold pillowcase



  1. Pu one of your pillow cases in the freezer
  2. before you go to bed take it out and put it on your pillow
  3. your pillowcase will now cool you down whilst you sleep





Basement
  1. Hot air rises
  2. so to feel cooler go to the first floor or the basement.







A bowl and your feet

  1. Dip your feet in ice cold water
  2. similarly, place your wrists under a running tap for 20 mins







DIY body spray:

  1. Brew peppermint tea in a pot
  2. chill in refrigerator
  3. pour into spray bottle and use as body spray.

8  ways to exterminate zits


Let's be honest, who hasn't had a zit in their life?? Exactly no one. The worst thing about zits is that it's hard to ignore and when you try to do something about it, it doesn't make it any better. When i try to cover/hide it with makeup it makes it even worse and when i try to pop it, i have a red rim around the pimple which makes it even more obvious. So i have found some great tips to use, which actually really does help. And these are some of them.




Egg whites



Apply egg whites to the zits and rinse off after 20 minutes.
Egg whites take the redness out of the zits surrounding area.
Honey





Use as facial mask. Stick but effective !! Honey protects the skin 
from getting any new zits, whilst protecting the popped zits from 
getting infections.


                                                                        



Tea tree oil




Dab a small amount on the effected area with a cotton ball or q-tip
and leave on overnight. This helps reduce the size and bacteria of 
the zit.








Garlic



Dilute garlic juice with water and leave on for a few minutes.
This will help with redness. It may not smell very nice
but at least it wont be as obvious to you and the people around you. 

                            





Toothpaste 





Got a big one!! Dab toothpaste (not the gel kind) on top of the
zit and leave it on overnight. The toothpaste will dry it making it smaller.




Baking soda
Mix water to create a paste. Use as facial and leave on for 10-20 minutes.



Aloe vera




Apply overnight.

                               










Lemon juice



Apply for 20 minutes.

Hair masks


Hair masks are amazing inventions. It makes your hair feel and look great. But sometimes when you want to treat your hair you either find out that you don't have any more of it OR it is too expensive. Well if you have been in one of those situation here are some recipes you can try from the comfort of your own home.


Moisturizing masks:
                       


2 tbsp of brown sugar. 1 tbsp of olive oil. Mix well and massage into wet hair. Leave it in for 20 mins.

OR 


           


1 tbsp of baking soda, 1 tbsp of any shampoo. Mix well and massage into wet hair. Leave in for 10 minutes.



Split ends remedy:

         


Mix 1 egg yolk with 3 tbsp of olive oil and 1 tbsp of honey.Apply the mixture to the ends of your hair. Leave it on for 1 hour.


Hair growth remedies:



Heat 1 tbsp of coconut oil, take it out of the microwave once it has turned into a liquid. Mix with 1 tbsp of olive oil. Massage mixture at the scalp, leave in for 30 mins.
