Fishtail braid

Today i will be teaching you how to give yourself or somebody else an edgy OR an elegant hairstyle known as the fishtail braid. I don't really know why it is known as the 'fishtail' braid, but it is probably because it looks like a fishes tail ??

                steps:

1.  The first thing you will need to do is select the amount of hair you want to Fishbraid (all/half/quarter)
2. Split the selected amount of hair into 2 pieces.
3. Now, imagine the left section is labelled 'A' and the right section is labelled with 'B' (or any preferred letter of your choice)
4. now, take a small section of hair from 'B' (make sure the section you pick is furthest away from section 'A')
5. once you have a small section of hair bring that section over 'B' and combine it with 'A' (when you are combining thestrands together, make sure you put the strand closest to section 'B' 
6. And now, we are going to do exactly the same thing. So instead of of bringing a small section from the back of 'B' to the front of 'A', you are going to take a small section from the back of 'A' and bringing it to the front of 'B'.
7. Repeat these steps all the way to the bottom of your hair. 
8. Now that you are near the bottom, secure it with a hair band (unlike the girl in the famous Tumblr pic)

 This hairstyle is amazingly beautiful but it can take a long time. Especially for me as my hair is very long (it is about an inch away from touching my bum.)

If my explanation has confused you, this diagram might be helpful if you incorporate the instructions with the drawings.
